These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PipingPro Academy (the "Service"), operated by Zephrum Konsultan Limited. By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
PipingPro Academy is a trading brand of Zephrum Konsultan Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (Company Registration No. 13537626), whose registered office is at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. The Service provides online educational content, engineering courses, technical reference guides, and software-based engineering calculators and tools for piping and pipeline engineering professionals. Some content is freely available; other content and tools require a paid subscription.
We may add, change, suspend, or remove features, courses, calculators, or other content at any time. We aim to give reasonable notice of material changes but are not obliged to maintain any particular item of content indefinitely.
To access paid features you must create an account and provide accurate, current information. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Accounts are for a single named individual. You may not share, sell, transfer, or allow others to use your account or login credentials.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create a paid account.
Paid access is provided on a subscription basis. The available plans, billing periods (for example monthly or annual), and the price applicable to your region are shown at checkout before you confirm your purchase. The price displayed at checkout is the price that applies to your subscription.
By subscribing, you authorise us and our payment processor to charge your chosen payment method:
Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price for your plan and region, unless you cancel before the renewal date. We will treat the payment method on file as authorised for these recurring charges.
Where a free trial or promotional rate is offered, the terms of that offer (including its duration and what happens at the end) will be stated at the time. Unless stated otherwise, at the end of a free trial your subscription will convert to a paid subscription and your payment method will be charged automatically. You may cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged.
Refunds. Except where required by law, subscription fees are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods, periods of non-use, or content you have already accessed. We do not provide pro-rata refunds when you cancel.
Nothing in this section affects any statutory rights you may have as a consumer that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where you are entitled to a statutory cooling-off period for digital content or services, that right may be lost once you begin accessing the content with your consent.
The Student tier is offered at a reduced price for the benefit of bona fide students. To access it you may be required to provide proof of current student status (for example a valid student email address or student identification). We may verify, decline, or revoke Student-tier eligibility at our discretion, and may move an account to a standard plan, or suspend access, where eligibility cannot be confirmed or is found to be misrepresented.

All content on the Service — including courses, text, guides, calculators, code, designs, logos, and the PipingPro Academy and Zephrum Konsultan brands — is owned by or licensed to Zephrum Konsultan Limited and is protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the content for your own personal and professional reference. No other rights are granted.
Reports, outputs, and calculation sheets that you generate using the tools are provided for your own use. The underlying tools, templates, and methods remain our property.
The calculators, tools, courses, and guides on this Service are provided as preliminary engineering, educational, and checking aids only.
Their outputs must not be used as the sole basis for design, fabrication, procurement, or construction without independent verification and sign-off by a qualified Chartered or Licensed engineer, against the governing code edition and applicable project specifications.
Engineering codes, standards, and material data are periodically revised. You are responsible for confirming that the methods, factors, and data used are current and appropriate for your specific application. The Service is not a substitute for professional engineering judgement.
You acknowledge that engineering decisions carry significant safety, financial, and legal consequences, and that you assume full responsibility for any reliance you place on the Service.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that the content or calculations are free from error.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zephrum Konsultan Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Service or any reliance on its content or outputs.
To the extent we are found liable, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
We use third-party providers to operate the Service, including for authentication, payment processing, hosting, and certain AI-assisted features. Your use of the Service may be subject to those providers' terms. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party providers beyond our reasonable control. See our Privacy Policy for details of how data is handled.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, for example by email or a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Subject to any non-excludable rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence, the courts of England and Wales shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service.
